Role Overview

As a New Home Sales Counselor for Oakwood Homes, you will work in our Green Valley Ranch and Brighton area communities.

Responsibilities
  • Support prospective buyers and lead them through a planned road map presentation & virtual demonstration about Oakwood Homes, Community, Model Homes & Homes Sites.
  • Answer buyer questions, overcome objections, and secure sales contracts.
  • Ensure overall buyer satisfaction through regular follow-up and follow-through.
  • Participate in the Community Team and address homeowner/buyer concerns throughout the entire process.
  • Self‑prospect (Realtors & Referrals) and focus daily on key success drivers resulting in closing the sale and writing the contract.
  • Embrace new technologies, specifically the Hub Spot CRM system, and other tools.
Qualifications
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Self‑starter & self‑motivated.
  • Exceptional sales skills.
  • Experience in single‑family residential or related field beneficial but not required.
  • Detail‑oriented and able to multi‑task.
  • Effective at prioritizing.
  • Proficiency in MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, including ability to communicate with internal and external customers.
  • Ability to follow defined business processes and align with the company’s corporate culture.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
  • Ability to work independently and carry out assignments to completion within instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
  • Team player and can sell strategically with a partner.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards.
  • Maintain regular, punctual in‑person attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other standards.
  • Able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
  • Able to talk, listen and speak clearly.

Compensation

Expected Salary: $30,000 Annual Salary. This position is eligible for additional sales commissions. All benefits are subject to qualification and hire dates.
