Sales Operations Lead responsible for data‑driven decision‑making and operational excellence for the Amazon Sales & Partner (ASP) organization, focusing on the Data and AI Pillar. Acts as a strategic business partner, translating data into actionable insights, shaping strategy, and driving processes such as territories, quotas, forecasting, and sales framework optimization.
Key Responsibilities- Document and implement standardized sales processes and metrics, including KPI definitions and goal cascades, to support operational effectiveness, and determine sales territories and quotas.
- Develop and manage pipeline qualification and attribution to ensure proper distribution and accurate financial reporting.
- Orchestrate AI‑human collaboration, managing and optimizing AI sales intelligence tools and automated customer/partner interaction systems.
- Maintain sales tools data quality to ensure accurate reporting and forecasting.
- Implement sales workflows and automation to streamline processes and improve seller efficiency.
- Conduct sales performance analysis on win/loss data, conversion rates, goal attainment, and forecast accuracy to identify potential risks.
- Prepare and drive regular business reviews, presenting insights on pipeline health, performance trends, and operational efficiency.
- Act as primary point of contact to resolve stakeholders’ requests and execute daily operational processes.
- Lead sales tools training and adoption initiatives to improve utilization and productivity.
- Lead cross‑functional projects to improve sales efficiency and processes.
- Drive escalations, address gaps, and resolve other issues to resolution.
- 7+ years of sales operations or equivalent experience.
- Experience defining, refining, and implementing sales processes, procedures, and policies.
- Experience conducting sophisticated and creative analysis of complex data and translating results into actionable deliverables, messages, and presentations.
- Experience presenting to senior leadership.
- Experience working within a high‑growth, technology company.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- Experience using Salesforce (or other CRM tool) or BI tools.
