Position: Sales Development Representative - US

Position

Sweep is hiring a Sales Development Representative (SDR) based in Denver, CO. In this role you will generate sales opportunities for account executives by identifying, contacting, and qualifying potential prospects.

Mission

Sweep maps climate and ESG data across an entire business to reduce carbon emissions, improve social and environmental performance, and create audit‑ready reports to run the best sustainability programs. Sweep empowers companies to build resilience to global challenges with technology.

Responsibilities
  • Identify leads and prospects
  • Map accounts with the right personas under the guidance of senior team members
  • Maintain prospect data in Salesforce
  • Support prospecting campaigns with the marketing team
  • Reach out to prospects using all relevant channels, with a focus on cold calling
  • Learn and apply messaging to trigger meaningful conversations
  • Execute multi‑threaded outbound campaigns with well‑crafted follow‑up sequences
  • Report on campaign results and share observations to improve conversion rates
  • Ensure prospects fit the Ideal Customer Profile
  • Highlight Sweep’s value proposition to raise interest and generate curiosity
  • Qualify business opportunities and book meetings with Account Executives
  • Log all communications accurately in the CRM
Qualifications
  • 1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, or a customer‑facing role
  • Exposure to software‑as‑a‑service environments, ideally in a B2B context
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a willingness to develop a consultative sales approach
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, collaborative team environment
  • Knowledge of CSR or climate change, a clear plus
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Familiarity with AI tools and openness to integrating them into daily work
