Builders Capital, the nation’s largest private construction lender, is seeking a dynamic Loan Officer who is ready to strategically target and win relationships with the top private home builders in their territory. This is your opportunity to operate at a higher level—focusing on scale, sophistication, and long‑term builder partnerships.

What You’ll Do:
  • Own the Top of the Market: Develop and execute a focused strategy to identify, engage, and build lasting relationships with the top 300 private home builders in your region. You will become a market expert—understanding who is building, where they are building, and how to position Builders Capital as their preferred lending partner.
  • Drive Strategic Outside Sales: Prospect, network, and cultivate relationships with high‑volume builders, developers, architects, land brokers, and key industry influencers.
  • Originate Complex Construction Solutions: Structure and originate a range of loan products including vertical construction, land development, bridge financing, and multifamily projects.
  • Quarterback the Deal: Lead transactions from initial outreach through structuring, underwriting, approval, and closing. Collaborate closely with internal credit, processing, and capital markets teams to deliver certainty and speed—critical for top‑tier builders.
  • Be a Trusted Advisor: Consult with builders on deal structure, leverage, timing, and risk mitigation. Provide strategic insight that supports their growth, not just their next project.
  • Execute with Discipline: Develop and implement a targeted sales plan centered on penetrating and expanding within the top builder segment. Set measurable goals, track performance, and continuously refine your strategy to capture market share.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Experience: Minimum 3+ years in construction finance or residential/commercial mortgage lending, with a strong understanding of construction loan structures and builder workflows.
  • Builder‑Focused Sales Mindset: Demonstrated ability (or strong ambition) to prospect and win business with professional home builders and developers.
  • Exceptional Communication

    Skills:

    Polished, professional, and confident with high‑level operators and business owners.
  • Strategic Problem Solver: Able to structure creative solutions while balancing risk and long‑term partnership value.
