Your Role at BaxterAs a Cardiology Sales Executive (Cardiology Specialist), you represent Baxter and our products, building trust with doctors and nurses who use our solutions daily. You proactively sell and deliver results for Baxter Cardiology products in the acute/primary care market—including hospitals, physician offices, urgent care, VA and DOD facilities, community health centers, and other healthcare organizations. Your goal is to generate opportunities with larger, strategic cardiology customers and/or EHR connected opportunities within an assigned territory.
WhatYou'll Be Doing
- Convey the entire value proposition and solution of the Baxter portfolio to executives and managers, addressing clinical, administrative, and IT perspectives.
- Serve as the commercial leader in your region for cardiology growth, providing strategic direction with management and participating in large IDN and corporate deals.
- Directly promote, quote, and negotiate Cardio Server new system sales deals, working with leadership for guidance and discount approvals.
- Develop a comprehensive business plan to grow sales of our cardiology solutions with Regional Managers, targeting strategic IDN’s and customers.
- Proactively target IDN and large cardiology practice customers that have not yet invested in our solutions, expanding penetration for customers who have a partial or no presence of our devices.
- Identify and nurture external relationships in cardiology, including C‑suite, managers, physicians, and IT leaders, to grow and sustain the Baxter Cardiology Brand.
- Assume the lead sales role on large cardiology opportunities, partnering with Solution Architects on complex connected opportunities and presenting at regional and national meetings.
- Maintain an accurate monthly forecast of all opportunities, chances for success, sales dollars, close dates, and progress toward quota.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communication, Business, or a related field (preferred).
- Experience with SAAS, connected environments, EMR, and capital sales (preferred).
- Three to five years of successful sales experience.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of cardiology products and workflow (plus).
- Team‑oriented, acting with urgency and ambition (must).
- Proven track record of establishing and implementing a business plan.

CompensationThe estimated pay range for this position is $112,000 to $154,000 annually, plus a Sales Incentive Plan that rewards achievement of goals. Pay is based on location, skills, experience, and market data.
