What You’ll Actually Be DoingYou’ll find and build relationships with customers in property management and facilities maintenance. Our services are genuinely one-of-a-kind, so a big part of the fun is educating people on what we do and earning their trust along the way.
Out in the Field (the fun part)- Connecting with 10–15 contacts a day
- A mix of on-site visits, phone calls, and email follow-ups
- Getting to know all kinds of industries — Property Management, Hotels, Movers, Builders, and more
- Showing customers what Surface Experts can (and can’t) do
- Checking in on how happy they are and spotting ways to do even better
- Earning trust by genuinely serving people
- Brainstorming and chasing down new opportunities
- Learning our sales scripts and sharpening them through role-play
- Tracking every client in our CRM from first lead to Work Order
- Keeping your data accurate day to day, week to week
- Planning and owning the sales strategy for your territory
- Goal-oriented, self-starting, and full of energy
- You genuinely enjoy being around people
- Licensed to drive a passenger car with a clean driving record
- Professional, caring, and service-minded
- Ready to thrive on a metrics-based, process-driven team
- Working knowledge of property management and/or construction
- Experience with a CRM tool and process
- You’ve worked commission-only before and loved the freedom and opportunity of it
