Job Overview & Essential Functions
Murphy‑Hoffman Company, LLC is North America’s largest Kenworth truck dealership and leasing group. As MHC continues to grow, we have an opening for a Used Truck Salesperson. The Used Truck Salesperson sells used trucks by interacting with established customers and developing new prospects within an assigned territory. This position requires a broad knowledge of the Company’s services, products, and marketing techniques.
Responsibilities- Calls on prospective customers and assigned accounts within the assigned territory with constant aggressive telephone marketing.
- Maintains contacts with customers regarding their requirements; keeps current on market and customer trends.
- Identifies and profiles prospective customers and applies strategies necessary to obtain orders.
- Provides company services to customers.
- Refers complaints and leads to the appropriate department managers.
- Reports on competitive activity.
- Keeps records and prepares reports on all phases of activities.
- Writes Used Truck appraisals in the absence of the Used Truck Manager.
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications- Broad knowledge of Company’s services, products, and marketing techniques.
- Product knowledge.
- Direct sales or truck sales experience preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Good organizational and time‑management skills.
- High energy level and positive attitude.
- CDL preferred.
