AWS Aerospace and Satellite team seeks an experienced Account Manager who consistently overachieves quota while focusing on the customer. The role requires a self‑starter who develops and executes a territory coverage plan and consistently delivers on revenue targets. Ideal candidates possess a sales and technical background, enabling engagement at the CXO level as well as with software developers and IT leaders.
Key Responsibilities- Proactively manage the full sales cycle from initial inquiry to closure.
- Increase awareness and adoption of AWS among space and satellite customers.
- Meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Develop and execute comprehensive account and territory plans.
- Coordinate activities of the extended team to support account/territory plans.
- Create and articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services.
- Accelerate customer adoption.
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline and execute operational aspects of account management.
- Work with partners to extend reach and drive adoption.
- Manage contract negotiations.
- Develop long‑term strategic relationships with key accounts.
- Ensure customer satisfaction.

Basic Qualifications- 7+ years of direct sales or business development in software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives.
- Experience developing detailed go-to-market plans.
- Experience with government procurement and contracting process.
- Space industry knowledge or experience (preferred but not required).
- Base salary range varies by location (example: Irvine $142,800 - $193,200 annually).
- Sign‑on payments, restricted stock units (RSUs), and sales incentives.
