Position to serve as the primary store‑level sales person for large accounts such as supermarkets in Castle Rock, Parker, and Littleton. The role includes ordering products for delivery, selling and servicing customers, merchandising shelves and displays, building promotional displays, and maintaining excellent service to grow business in assigned accounts.
Primary Accountabilities- Grow sales volume, market share, product distribution, space allocation, and customer service in all assigned accounts
- Sell product inventory to standards
- Take inventory and place orders for future delivery
- Solicit new business to increase volume and new package distribution within area boundaries
- Sell and execute promotions, solicit equipment placement, and sell sufficient product inventory
- Utilize point‑of‑purchase materials to stimulate sales
- Generate selling opportunities by maintaining and increasing shelf facings, cleaning shelves, and rotating products
- Provide excellent service to assigned accounts and build goodwill with customers through communication, rapport, and attentiveness to needs
- Merchandise product sections and build displays to stimulate sales
- Complete paperwork accurately, legibly, and in a timely manner
- Perform additional duties as assigned by manager, potentially including warehouse support
- Maintain regular, reliable, predictable attendance
- 18 years or older
- Must have personal transportation to access multiple store locations within assigned shift
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and proof of insurance
- Experience with consumer products (multiple types, sizes, packages)
- Experience in the beverage industry (segments, customer types, competitors, trends)
- Experience with power equipment (lift jacks, pallet jacks, etc.)
- Experience with handheld computers (mobile technology)
- Experience managing inventory (current stock, projected sales, ordering/ restocking)
- Experience with business‑to‑business selling (sales calls, relationship building, complaint handling)
- Experience with merchandising (standards, plannograms, displays, stocking, back‑room organization)
- Experience managing incorrect orders (resolution of wrong orders, out‑of‑stock product)
- Experience performing financial and mathematical calculations (profit margins, display sizing)
- Experience managing a route (prioritizing stops, scheduling, delivery windows)
- Experience with incremental selling (up‑selling, suggestive selling)
- Experience following safety procedures (proper lifting techniques, safety processes)
For positions requiring use of a personal vehicle for a sales route, mileage reimbursement is provided.
