Kelso Building Services is seeking a proven HVAC sales professional to drive new business across the Denver metro area
. This is a high‑accountability, field‑based role focused on developing commercial service and project revenue in a competitive market.
This position is best suited for a true hunter—someone who is comfortable building a book of business from the ground up and selling into facility management, property management, and industrial clients.
What You’ll Do- Generate new revenue through cold calling, door‑to‑door prospecting, and territory development within the Denver market
- Conduct technical site evaluations and recommend HVAC service and system solutions
- Build and maintain a robust, self‑generated pipeline—this is not a lead‑driven role
- Develop and present accurate, competitive proposals for service agreements and project work
- Partner with internal operations teams to ensure precise scoping and successful delivery
- Sell and expand preventative maintenance agreements and long‑term service contracts
- Consistently hit or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets
- 2+ years of commercial HVAC or mechanical sales experience
- Demonstrated success in outbound prospecting and closing net‑new business
- Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, service models, and project sales cycles
- Ability to self‑generate opportunities without reliance on inbound leads
Comfortable selling in a competitive, relationship‑driven market like Denver - Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce, Hub Spot, or similar)
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel daily within the territory
- Established relationships with Denver‑area facility managers, GCs, or property managers
- Experience selling service agreements, retrofits, or capital equipment replacements
- Familiarity with local market pricing, competition, and buying cycles
- Base salary + uncapped commission (top performers earn significantly above base)
