Position Overview
As a Relationship Manager III – C&IB within PNC's Commercial Banking organization, you will be based in Denver, CO. This role focuses on delivering exceptional client experiences and fostering inclusive workplace culture. You will develop relationship strategies, direct relationship management activities, and grow sales, revenue and market share through relevant sales goals.
Responsibilities• Set relationship strategies and direct relationship‑management activities with new and/or existing clients in a book of business.
• Acquire, expand, and retain client relationships to generate revenue and deepen the share of wallet.
• Handle origination, financial analysis, negotiation and documentation of credit and non‑credit products and services.
• Manage risk/return and drive quality for new and/or existing clients.
• Identify and mitigate regulatory, reputational, operational and credit risks.
• Provide insights based on an understanding of the client’s needs and financial well‑being.
• Drive client engagement and loyalty, mentoring other team members when appropriate.
• Manage a network of senior internal and external relationships to actively acquire new clients and/or expand existing clients.
• Leverage reporting and sales tools to proactively identify and convert sales opportunities.
Successful candidates must demonstrate appropriate knowledge, skills, and abilities for a role. The following are required or preferred:
- Book of business management
- Client relationship building
- Credit processes and credit products
- Customer engagement
- Decision making, critical thinking, and effective communication
- Financial analysis
- Sales prospecting and selling
- Tech savvy
Roles at this level typically require a university or college degree. Higher‑level education such as a master’s degree, PhD, or certifications is desirable. Industry‑relevant experience is typically 8+ years. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job‑specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
SalaryBase Salary: $ – $ (based on geographic location, market data, and individual experience). This role is incentive eligible with compensation based upon company, business, and/or individual performance.
