Systems Account Manager

Join Trane's best‑in‑class Commercial HVAC team as a Systems Account Manager. In this role, you will develop long‑term customer relationships with consulting engineers, contractors, and building owners, and help deliver total solutions for the most energy‑efficient buildings.

Responsibilities
  • Project take‑off, selection, proposal pricing and selling strategy; integration of equipment, controls, and services.
  • Provide knowledge and consultation in developing HVAC system solutions, including financial and performance‑based considerations.
  • Consistently ascertain customer needs and current market opportunities.
  • Assemble and coordinate acquisition teams for customers and projects.
  • Convert leads into opportunities by assigning the appropriate sales process, identifying required sales team members, making assignments, and communicating next steps.
  • Develop and execute an account‑specific business plan to facilitate a strong, profitable partnership.
  • Assist customers in answering technical questions on HVAC systems, Trane Products, and industry issues.
  • Plan and organize your day, including customer visits.
Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience or a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS).
  • 2+ years of solution sales experience.
  • Communication and relationship‑building skills, entrepreneurial drive, ability to "close," organization, time‑management skills.
  • Valid driver’s license held for a minimum of 12 months with no major traffic violations. (Required – see detailed criteria for violations such as DUI, hit‑and‑run, license suspension, reckless/careless driving, or multiple smaller infractions.)
Compensation & Benefits
  • Annual base salary range: $78,400.00 – $.
