Position: Business Development (BDM) Manager

Position Overview

Citadel Security USA is seeking a Security Industry Business Development (BDM) Manager responsible for driving revenue growth, developing strategic partnerships, and expanding client relationships within the physical security, cybersecurity, or integrated security services market. This role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, managing sales pipelines, and collaborating with operational teams to deliver customized security solutions for commercial, government, industrial, healthcare, education, and residential clients.

This position reports to the organization s Chief Revenue Officer (CRO).

Primary Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the security industry
  • Develop and maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients
  • Generate sales leads through networking, referrals, industry events, and cold outreach
  • Conduct client needs assessments and recommend appropriate security solutions
  • Prepare proposals, presentations, bids, and contract negotiations
  • Collaborate with operations, technical teams, and leadership to ensure successful project delivery
  • Maintain knowledge of market trends, competitors, and emerging security technologies
  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
  • Track pipeline activity and sales forecasting using CRM systems
  • Participate in trade shows, security conferences, and industry associations
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, licensing requirements, and company policies
  • Develop strategic partnerships with vendors, integrators, and subcontractors
Position Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Criminal Justice, Marketing, or related field (preferred)
  • 3–7+ years of business development or sales experience
  • Experience in the security industry strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of physical security systems or cybersecurity solutions
  • Proven track record of meeting sales quotas and revenue goals
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to build long-term client relationships
  • Proficiency with CRM software such as Salesforce or Hub Spot
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel
