Regional Sales Manager – ASI

Med Tech Surgery within the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies is recruiting for a Regional Sales Manager – ASI. This field-based role is available across multiple states, with Denver, CO listed as an example location.

About Surgery

We develop next‑generation surgical technologies to treat conditions such as obesity, cardiovascular disease and cancer, offering minimally invasive and open procedures across many specialties.

Responsibilities
  • Assure critical enablers (people, processes, programs, tools and technology) are used effectively to meet customer needs.
  • Manage and coordinate demand and access resources tailored to facility‑level needs.
  • Create a facility‑level cost‑benefit analysis for deploying resources and prioritizing opportunities.
  • Leverage and collaborate across Med Tech Surgery to meet facility needs.
  • Examine contract issues and, based on financial analysis, recommend the best decision for customer and company.
  • Apply business insight tools to identify facility‑specific growth opportunities.
  • Manage a team of sales representatives and conduct periodic field visits to develop their selling skills.
  • Coach sales representatives to achieve individual development plans.
  • Recruit and hire to ensure all territories are staffed with qualified sales associates.
  • Lead the team to complete the selling process in a concise, compliant, professional, ethical, and persuasive manner.
  • Handle customer product questions and objections consistently with sales training methodology, and conduct sales presentations using current sales methods.
  • Understand the appropriate surgical use of products within defined specialties, and coach sales representatives to target and segment customers accordingly.
  • Conduct business and set the tone for the team in accordance with the Business Conduct Policy, HCC, and other J&J policies.
  • Demonstrate excellent computer skills with Microsoft Office and Apple applications.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in an applicable field; MBA preferred.
  • 3‑5 years of relevant business and/or leadership experience.
  • 3‑5 years in clinical sales, marketing, professional education, sales learning and development, or commercial functional experience.
  • 1‑2 years of coaching, mentoring and training experience; direct leadership experience of a group of employees.
  • Participation in a Sales Leadership Development Program and/or interim RSM role of at least 6 months preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license issued in the United States.
  • Ability to travel, including overnight and/or weekend, up to 60% of the time.
