What you will do:
We are looking for a BROKER SALES & SERVICE MANAGER who can help shape our vision and support our mission. Here is what the position will look like.
- Actively identify and qualify new business prospects through current member outreach, networking, and digital outreach.
- Assess client needs to recommend customized Marketplace insurance products aligned with their goals.
- Manage the sales pipeline effectively to meet or exceed monthly production and revenue targets.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to brokers and agencies.
- Maintain correspondence and customer communication in compliance with industry best practices.
- Exhibit a positive and flexible attitude, managing strict service levels and deadlines.
- Handle inbound and outbound calls while meeting agreed service standards.
- Take ownership of incoming queries via email or phone.
- Acquire new business and independently manage broker relationships through phone and email.
- Prepare marketing collateral necessary to close sales.
- Keep databases updated with accurate information.
- Understand client circumstances, needs, and expectations.
- Facilitate communication between insurers and internal teams.
- Attend agency meetings when needed.
- Oversee the sales operations infrastructure including CRM systems, quoting tools, and reporting dashboards.
- Ensure accurate tracking of sales performance, pipeline metrics, and broker engagement.
- Collaborate with IT and analytics teams to streamline sales workflows and data integrity.
- Knowledge of key FMOs, brokerages, enrollment vendors and platforms.
- Understanding of commission systems and agent appointment software and vendors.
What you will bring:
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalency required.
Experience:
A minimum of five years of experience working with external brokers and agencies with at least two years of relevant Marketplace (Exchange) Insurance sales experience. Experience in sales, brokerage support, or account management, preferably in a carrier-based environment is highly desired.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to analyze agency book on a quarterly basis for potential actions. Strong problem-solving skills to navigate organizational structures and resolve client issues effectively. Demonstrates support for the company's mission, vision and values. Position requires exceptional verbal and written communication skills to explain complex technical terms to diverse audiences. Must be proficient in Microsoft office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint) and CRM systems;
with ability to work with a variety of project management tools. May be required to manage multiple priorities and projects with tight deadlines.
Licenses/Certifications:
Must hold a Health, Accident, and Life Insurance license for the state of Colorado and complete continuing education to maintain it and in good standing. A valid driver's license and proof of current auto insurance will be required for any position requiring driving.

Pay, Perks and Benefits at Colorado Access:
The compensation for this position is $75,000 - $85,000 annually plus commissions. Colorado Access has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what Colorado Access may pay for the position at the time of posting.
