Primary Responsibilities
- Execute and promote products in alignment with sales strategy in the assigned territory.
- Collaborate with the District Sales Manager on day-to-day sales and product promotion activities.
- Analyze the local market; develop, execute, and monitor performance to maximize appropriate product use in the territory.
- Maintain current knowledge of product, disease, competition, and market reimbursement.
- Determine, implement, and monitor optimal resource allocation (e.g., budgets, time) within the territory.
- Use advanced selling and negotiation skills to communicate persuasively with target audiences.
- Identify, build, and leverage advocacy channels.
- Secure product access and reimbursement within institutional systems as needed.
- Manage travel and promotional budget.
- Complete required monitoring and reporting (expenses and call reporting) using approved systems.
- Maintain full compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Meet credentialing requirements for healthcare providers, customer facilities, and state/local governments.
- Complete additional ad-hoc projects as needed.
- BS or BA with GPA greater than 3.0.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving history.
- Self-starter; goal- and results-driven with a proven track record.
- “Hunter” mentality; fortitude to sell and compete.
- Strong relationships and territory knowledge preferred.
- Ability to travel (may include overnights); work hours may include off-hours meetings.
- Must reside within territory geography.
- Clinical, patient-centric, tactical; excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication.
- Ability to navigate complex markets/organizations; outstanding work ethic and organization.
- Effective selling and presentation skills; manage multiple priorities and make sound decisions.
- Ability to read situations quickly and adjust for roadblocks.
- Customer-focused, self-motivated, and computer proficient.
