Position: Neurology Account Manager - Denver, CO

Primary Responsibilities

  • Execute and promote products in alignment with sales strategy in the assigned territory.
  • Collaborate with the District Sales Manager on day-to-day sales and product promotion activities.
  • Analyze the local market; develop, execute, and monitor performance to maximize appropriate product use in the territory.
  • Maintain current knowledge of product, disease, competition, and market reimbursement.
  • Determine, implement, and monitor optimal resource allocation (e.g., budgets, time) within the territory.
  • Use advanced selling and negotiation skills to communicate persuasively with target audiences.
  • Identify, build, and leverage advocacy channels.
  • Secure product access and reimbursement within institutional systems as needed.
  • Manage travel and promotional budget.
  • Complete required monitoring and reporting (expenses and call reporting) using approved systems.
  • Maintain full compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Meet credentialing requirements for healthcare providers, customer facilities, and state/local governments.
  • Complete additional ad-hoc projects as needed.
Education & Experience / Qualifications
  • BS or BA with GPA greater than 3.0.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving history.
  • Self-starter; goal- and results-driven with a proven track record.
  • “Hunter” mentality; fortitude to sell and compete.
  • Strong relationships and territory knowledge preferred.
  • Ability to travel (may include overnights); work hours may include off-hours meetings.
  • Must reside within territory geography.
Performance Competencies / Skills
  • Clinical, patient-centric, tactical; excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication.
  • Ability to navigate complex markets/organizations; outstanding work ethic and organization.
  • Effective selling and presentation skills; manage multiple priorities and make sound decisions.
  • Ability to read situations quickly and adjust for roadblocks.
  • Customer-focused, self-motivated, and computer proficient.
