Business Development Manager – Oil & Gas Completions
Location: Denver, CO
Employment Type: Full-Time
We are seeking a strategic and driven Business Development Manager specializing in oil & gas completions to expand our market presence and drive revenue growth. This role focuses on identifying new opportunities, building strong client relationships, and delivering completion-focused solutions that meet customer operational and performance goals.
Key Responsibilities- Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities within the completions segment (fracturing, cementing, well intervention, etc.)
- Build and maintain relationships with operators, service companies, and key industry stakeholders
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with company growth objectives
- Lead client engagements, including presentations, proposals, and contract negotiations
- Collaborate with technical teams to deliver customized completion solutions
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform strategy
- Manage and grow existing accounts to increase revenue and customer retention
- Track sales pipeline activity and provide accurate forecasting and reporting
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5–10 years of experience in oil & gas business development or sales, with a focus on completions
- Strong knowledge of completion technologies, including hydraulic fracturing, cementing, and well stimulation
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to travel as needed (up to XX%)
- Existing network within operators and service providers in the completions space
- Technical background in completions engineering or field operations
- Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce or similar)
- Understanding of contract structures, pricing models, and risk management in oil & gas
