Regional Sales Manager

Job SummaryThe role of a Regional Sales Manager involves overseeing and managing the sales activities within a specific region. They are responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve the company's sales targets and objectives. This includes identifying potential customers, building and maintaining relationships with key clients, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Additionally, a Regional Sales Manager is responsible for leading and motivating a team of sales representatives, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their individual and team goals.
They also analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead in the market. Overall, a Regional Sales Manager plays a crucial role in driving sales growth and profitability within their assigned region.
- Be responsible forall aspects of a sale, including product evaluation, pricing negotiations, contract development, ensuring successful product fulfillment and payment according to the contractual agreement.
- Create and develop relationships with transit agencies, school districts and private fleet operators to ensure responsiveness andeliminatecompetition on bids / RFPs.
- Manage all sales activities within the assigned territory including travel to make sales visits.
- Work with your Director of Sales (DOS) to grow existing business and proactively search for new business.
- Maintain an understanding of all company sales processes.
- Follow internal processes to properly document all activities in Salesforce.
- Maintain detailed account profiles and activities in Salesforce and update your DOS on account status, business opportunities.
- Forecast and track sales of existing accounts in Salesforce.
- Represent company at trade association meetings.

Physical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.
Required Education/Experience/Certifications- High school education is required
- Minimum of three years sales experience and proven sales record with a history of successful results.
- Previous vehicle sales a plus.
- College Degree
- CDL with passenger endorsement preferred.
Able to travel when required.
