Distribution International (QXO) is a leading distributor and installer of insulation, roofing, lumber, and building materials. We seek an Outside Sales Representative to drive sales and deliver excellent customer service across a 250‑mile territory.

• Increase sales revenues and margins through effective territory management.
• Expand sales volume and profits in the territory by actively calling on new and existing customers.
• Use effective pre‑call planning, market information, scheduling, and maximization of sales opportunities.
• Develop strategic sales plans and forecasts for the territory.
• Identify and pursue additional sales opportunities in current and new product lines.
• Prepare and present quotes, proposals, reports, correspondence, and product/industry presentations to customers at all levels.
• Report on weekly sales activities, operations, and forecasting information.
• Ensure timely submission of expense reports.
• Utilize the company CRM to build and report on all account calls, prospects, activities, objectives, and results.
• Participate in company improvement programs such as strategic planning or continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Network in industry associations and functions.
• Attend training and trade shows as required.
• Plan sales activities and trips to maximize sales coverage while keeping travel expenses within budget.
• Perform any other duties, tasks, or responsibilities as assigned.

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license with no more than two moving violations in the last three years.
• Bachelor’s degree or some college experience preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years of outside sales experience selling business to business.
• CRM experience preferred.
• Overnight travel required.
• Knowledge of commercial construction, industrial insulation, or experience calling on general contractors and commercial jobsites is ideal.
• Valid driver’s license for company vehicle use if required.

Cover a territory within a 250‑mile radius and accommodate overnight travel up to 75% of the time.

• Prolonged standing and repetitive motions, including bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling.
• Good hand‑eye coordination, hand dexterity, and physical strength.
• Lifting up to 50 pounds, depending on specific duties.

Annual salary range: $30,000 – $250,000, depending on location, experience, skills, and market data. Variable compensation may also be offered.
