What you’ll be doing
  • Help customers move their business forward by strategically positioning Verizon AI Connect solutions.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, solving complex business problems related to AI resource‑intensive workloads.
  • Use a consultative selling approach to package and tailor AI Connect solutions, leveraging dark fiber and Wavelength offerings.
  • Build strategic plans that drive sales of AI Connect and related high‑bandwidth, low‑latency networking solutions.
  • Develop deep relationships with customers, understanding their businesses, markets, and AI workload challenges.
  • Craft creative solutions that help customers realize their AI goals using private and secure network services.
  • Sell Verizon AI Connect services and data‑center solutions, addressing edge‑to‑cloud connectivity and programmable network capabilities.
  • Demonstrate the value of Verizon’s ultra‑fast metro fiber network for robust AI workloads.
  • Grow business while keeping customers satisfied through intelligent and secure AI connectivity.
What we’re looking for

The role requires advanced understanding of customer strategy, operational landscape, and AI networking challenges. Candidates must be proactive, collaborative, and data‑driven, with strong technical and strategic acumen.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant experience, demonstrated through work, military experience, or specialized training.
  • Experience partnering with and/or selling to large hyper‑scaler organizations.
  • Proven success selling large, customizable, and complex solutions in network and data‑center services (cloud, security, call center, CPE) with focus on dark fiber, Wavelength, and AI connectivity platforms.
  • Experience in account development and leadership.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Willingness to travel.
Preferred Experience
  • Advanced degree.
  • Experience selling high‑bandwidth, low‑latency solutions such as dark fiber, Wavelength, and AI connectivity platforms.
  • Drive to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Developed large multinational and Fortune 500 account relationships.
  • Strong communication skills for positioning new ideas and complex solutions.
  • Negotiation and persuasion skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience with dark fiber sales or network architecture involving dark fiber.
  • Familiarity with AI workloads and specific networking requirements.
Where you’ll be working

In this mobile role, you’ll work primarily from customer or field locations, with occasional visits to a Verizon location for training and meetings.

40 hours per week.
