Position Summary

The Auto Club Group (ACG) is looking for Insurance Sales Agents to drive new business, retain existing members, and grow ACG’s insurance book through a range of competitive products. This relationship‑driven sales role offers a long‑term income potential through commission, with ramp‑up earnings support during the first months to help you build your pipeline.

Key Responsibilities
  • Use sales techniques and product knowledge to identify customer‐specific needs and generate new sales, retain existing insureds, and grow overall insurance book of business.
  • Effectively overcome objections to close sales and/or retain insureds.
  • Meet or exceed targets as defined in the sales incentive plan and assigned by the manager.
  • Conduct insurance reviews, assess risk, recommend suitable coverage, quote, bind, and issue policies.
  • Engage in market‑based interactions at business establishments and other convenient locations to solicit new business, expand networks, and build rapport.
  • Respond to customer inquiries related to insurance, membership, and financial products.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Current Property & Casualty Insurance license.
  • Current Life Insurance Sales license.
  • Must qualify for, obtain, and maintain all applicable state licenses for selling or servicing Auto Club Group Membership products, including Health and Accident licenses where required.
  • 1+ year(s) of sales or customer service experience.
  • Strong sales skills with a history of developing, tracking, following up on, and closing leads.
  • Advanced consultative selling techniques and thorough product knowledge.
  • Strong phone sales and prospecting skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and customer focus.
  • Motivation, ambition, and drive.
  • Proficiency with desktop systems, including Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent listening skills and ability to understand customer needs.
Work Environment

This is an in‑office position. Employees service ACG members in‑person at an ACG branch facility. The position requires daytime hours and one rotating Saturday shift per month (9:00am–1:00pm) at some branch locations.

Compensation & Benefits Overview

Average annual earnings range from $60,000 to $80,000+. A guaranteed hourly rate of $21.63 (annualized $45,000) plus commissions and bonus opportunities. The position is eligible for overtime.
