Join Scripps as a Bid Proposal Specialist
Play a pivotal role in driving business growth through strategic bid and proposal management. This full-time temporary position offers the opportunity to lead high-impact projects, build meaningful relationships with government clients, and shape the future of our proposal process through innovation and efficiency.
What You'll Do:- Serve as the project lead and main point of contact for all bid and RFP related submissions, helping to manage the overall process
- Stay current on client needs and business evolution to maximize client satisfaction
- Understand and adopt the Scripps Sales Process and prospective client needs to develop proposed solutions that meet government bid requirements
- Ensure bid responses address all business requirements, challenges, and requested formatting
- Establish an efficient cross-functional process for bid responses, including routing approvals and responses across teams
- Identify and develop relationships with various government groups to build rapport before and after awarded bids
- Assist in evolving the tech stack to drive scalability and capability to respond to more bids, and collaborate closely with technical teams to provide requirements and solution feedback
- Maintain current knowledge of products and services across all platforms
- Proactively engage Sales Managers in RFP submissions with a goal to maximize all RFP opportunities strategic partnerships
- Track and measure progress on all bid submissions and addendums, keeping the sales staff informed of status
- Collaborate with Sales staff and management on a pre-sales basis to determine the optimal product mix to meet client KPIs and goals
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience preferred
- Generally, 3+ years of experience in related field preferred
- Proven history of successfully securing government contracts or bids preferred
- Experience in government procurement software preferred
- Knowledge of AI and data analysis techniques to drive efficiencies, scalability and identify high-value opportunities
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills
- Strong proposal writing and stakeholder management skills to develop, review, and approve compliant bids
- Ability to streamline the proposal process and automate workflows to enhance efficiency and support business growth
- Excellent customer service skills

- Understanding of web technologies strongly preferred
Annual Salary: $70,000.00 - $78,000.00 Pursuant to state and local salary transparency laws, the salary range posted is specific to candidates who will perform this work in Colorado.
