Sales Specialist

Performance Food Group is seeking a Sales Specialist focused on the Hispanic segment for our wholesale food distribution business. In this role, you will grow sales with Hispanic-focused restaurants, retailers, and food service operators by understanding cultural preferences, product needs, and menu trends. You will manage a territory, prospect and qualify new accounts, present product solutions, and negotiate pricing within guidelines. Partner closely with distribution, marketing, and customer service to ensure on-time, accurate deliveries.

You will analyze sales reports, track performance, and help develop promotions while representing PFG's safety-first, customer-centered values.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a territory sales plan for Hispanic-segment accounts
• Prospect, qualify, and close new restaurant and retail food service customers
• Grow sales and product penetration within existing Hispanic-focused accounts
• Conduct customer visits, product presentations, and business reviews
• Negotiate pricing and programs within company guidelines
• Collaborate with distribution, marketing, and customer service to ensure service excellence
• Analyze sales reports and pipeline data to meet or exceed sales targets
• Provide feedback on Hispanic market trends, menu needs, and product gaps
• Maintain accurate CRM records, call reports, and account plans
• Represent PFG's safety-first, customer-centered, performance-driven culture in all interactions
