Business Development, B2B Sales, Account Manager
Society6 is a design-forward brand that offers unique Home and Lifestyle products for our art and design-forward customers, through partnerships with emerging artists and on-trend designers. We value original artwork from creators of all kinds—from painters to illustrators to photographers to pattern designers and everything in between. We empower creativity around the world—because each purchase pays an artist.
We are seeking an entrepreneurial and dynamic Hospitality Account Executive to lead the growth of Society6’s hospitality and B2B business. This role calls for a hands-on individual who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and is eager to drive expansion. The Hospitality Account Executive will be responsible for acquiring new business, nurturing key relationships, and overseeing all phases of the sales cycle within the hospitality industry.
You’ll report to the Sr. Director of Sales and play a crucial role in the growth of Society6’s business. To succeed here, you must embrace challenges, turn obstacles into opportunities, and approach every task with creativity and determination. We value initiative, resourcefulness, and a relentless drive for success.
We work in a fun, collaborative environment that is diverse, adventurous, and open-minded. We look for proactive, accountable people focused on continuous learning and growth to push themselves and our businesses forward.
You’ll Report To:
Sr. Director, Sales
- Own and drive net new outbound pipeline for hospitality trade accounts — hotel groups, boutique properties, Procurement teams at multi-property group, hospitality design firms, and short-term rental operators.
- Build and work a structured target account "hit list," prospecting through cold outreach, Linked In, referrals, and industry networks — not just following up on inbound.
- Represent Society6 at hospitality industry trade shows and events to generate qualified pipeline, not just brand visibility.
- Qualify and convert leads surfaced by internal BD/lead-generation support into active, worked opportunities.
- Run the full net new sales cycle: discovery, curated proposal, pricing, negotiation, and close.
- Partner with the merchandising and curation team to build tailored art packages that win net new hospitality accounts.
- Maintain accurate, current pipeline data and provide consistent activity and forecast reporting to the Sr. Director of Sales.
- Own and exceed a quarterly net new sale revenue target for the hospitality trade channel.
- Drive repeat and expansion business through re-orders, seasonal refreshes, and new projects within accounts you've already won.
- Build a relationship plan for each owned account, including proactive outreach ahead of renewal windows and seasonal buying cycles.
- Partner with merchandising and curation to keep owned accounts’ assortments fresh and aligned to new collections.
- Manage account-level operational and customer service needs, coordinating with production and ops as issues come up.
- Report on account health, retention, and growth revenue alongside net new pipeline metrics.
- At least 5 yearsof hospitality industry sales experience
- A proven history of generating your own pipeline from cold outreach, not just converting warm relationships handed to you.
- Comfort running a structured, disciplined outbound process: target lists, cadences, and consistent follow-through.
- Experience managing and growing accounts post-close —repeat orders, and expansion revenue, not just the first sale.
- Experience with Salesforce or a similar CRM for pipeline management and forecasting.
- Ability to travel for trade shows and client meetings as needed.
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
- High energy and resilience — motivated by the hunt and by building something that’s still yours a year from now.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Not afraid to wear multiple hats — no job too small or too large.
