Associate Director

This person has to have spent most of their career thus far in public accounting (the Big 4 is preferred, but Regional firms will work too).

As an Associate Director on the National Market Sales Team, you will act as a well-connected Business Development Professional and Leadership Advisor to financial executives at Fortune 1000 companies. This role focuses on building long-term, emotionally connected relationships to generate strategic business opportunities using a relationship-led "ABCD" networking model rather than traditional cold calling.

• Complete the year-long Director Xcelerator (DX) Development Program, receiving specialized coaching in sales methodology and leadership.
• Expand professional networks through warm introductions, trusted referrals, and client development activities.
• Manage resource deployment, conduct proactive Needs Assessments, and lead Performance Assurance Reviews to ensure client satisfaction.
• Support local recruiting efforts and mentor team members on network growth strategies.

• Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business or Accounting, plus 5+ years in professional services (preferably Big 4 or Client Relationship Advisory).
• Skills: High emotional intelligence, self-starter initiative, strong communication skills, and exceptional mental agility.
• Commitment: Average 48–52 hours per week, including 1–2 evening events weekly, in-office presence 4 days per week, and occasional travel (3–6 times yearly).
• Evaluation: Performance is evaluated on team-oriented goals with no individual sales quotas assigned for the first 2–3 years.
