Research Assistant; Temporary Administrative

Social Work. Salary: $18.81 per hour. This is a temporary position not benefits-eligible and requires enrollment in a PERA retirement account.

The Research Assistant (RA
- Temporary Hourly Administrative) Program facilitates opportunities for recent graduates to participate in faculty/administrator research, scholarly, and creative endeavors.

• Preparation of research materials.
• Data analysis.
• Literature review.
• Conference preparation.
• Other similar tasks associated with academic scholarship.

The RA must be able to function in a fast-paced, demanding educational environment, pay attention to detail, be thorough, organized, a quick learner, work independently with little supervision, make sound decisions, and be committed to supporting the mission and values of the Department of Social Work and MSU Denver.

• Proficiency with APA, MS Word, MS Excel.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Previous research experience.
• Familiarity with SPSS or equivalent quantitative analysis software.
• Familiarity with QSR or equivalent qualitative analysis software.

19 hours per week maximum, 1‑year contract maximum.
