• Preparing stock buffers and other reagents as needed.
• Cleaning,stocking, and autoclaving laboratory supplies as needed.
• As time permits,opportunities will be available to assist with routine experiments usinggenetic and moleculartechniques.

• Basic chemistry, mathematical skills to make stock solutions
• Ability to follow established protocols

• Current DU undergraduate student enrolled for the academic year.
• This position is awork studyjob, which requires eligibility through the Financial Aid Office.

• Biology or Biochemistry major.
• Standard lab environment.
• Unexpected interruptions occur often, and stress level is moderate to high.
• Noise level is quiet to moderate.

• Occasionally required to move about the office/campus with the capability of transporting objects up to 20 lbs.

• $19.29-$21.00/hr – open to work-study funded student employees.
• In compliance with Colorado’s Healthy Families and Workplaces Act (HFWA), non-benefited employees accrue one hour of paid leave for every 30 hours worked up to a maximum of 48 hours per year.
