Armed Security Officer - Transit Flex

We’re seeking highly dependable and professional Armed Security Officer – Transit to protect the RTD transit system across the Denver metro area. In this role, you will play a vital part in safeguarding passengers, employees, and property throughout bus routes, light rail stations, and major transit hubs.

Location: Denver, CO

Pay: $25.00 an hour

Schedule: Flexible schedule necessary

Candidates must meet one of the following: 2 years of law enforcement experience, 1 year of active‑duty military service, or 1 year of corrections experience. In lieu of this, candidates may qualify with 7 years of unarmed security experience, 3 years of armed security experience, or a minimum of 60 college credit hours.

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site‑specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
