Security Officer

Citadel Security USA is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Full-Time Unarmed Security Officer to support security operations at a residential apartment community in the Denver area. This position plays an important role in monitoring property activity, observing security systems, and communicating potential concerns to dispatch and site contacts.

The ideal candidate is dependable, attentive, and comfortable working independently while maintaining a high level of awareness throughout the shift. This assignment requires strong observation skills, consistent attendance, and the ability to monitor multiple surveillance systems simultaneously.

• Employment Type: Full-Time
• Pay: Up to $21.00 per hour
• Schedule: Saturday to Sunday: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM | Monday: 8:00 PM - 6:00 AM

• Monitor multiple CCTV camera systems throughout the shift
• Observe entrances, exits, parking areas, hallways, and common spaces
• Identify suspicious activity, safety concerns, unauthorized access, or policy violations
• Maintain awareness of property activity and report concerns promptly

• Maintain regular communication with dispatch personnel via phone and radio
• Relay information regarding incidents, hazards, disturbances, or emergencies
• Escalate security concerns according to site procedures
• Coordinate with emergency responders when required

• Help maintain a safe and orderly environment for residents and visitors
• Monitor resident and guest activity in accordance with community policies
• Support access control procedures when necessary
• Provide a professional and visible security presence

• Complete detailed daily activity reports and incident documentation
• Record observations, communications, and security-related events accurately
• Maintain confidentiality regarding residents, visitors, and property operations
• Follow all post orders, company policies, and client instructions

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Reliable personal vehicle required for transportation to and from the site
• Ability to work the assigned schedule consistently
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to remain attentive while monitoring multiple surveillance feeds
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Professional demeanor and sound judgment
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Previous experience in security, surveillance monitoring, dispatch, or customer service
• Experience working in residential housing or apartment communities
• Familiarity with CCTV systems and electronic reporting platforms
• Strong observation, problem-solving, and incident documentation skills
