The Armed Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring cameras, patrolling a variety of locations, security screening, complete reports, and work directly with law enforcement. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

Frequently our Armed Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client's employees and customers and serve as a physical deterrent.

Basic Requirements:

* 21 years of age or older.

* High School Diploma or GED required.

* Above average computer / technology skills needed.

* Impeccable customer service and team leadership skills needed.

* Must be able to remain calm and professional in stressful situations.

* Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.

* Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.

* All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.

* 2 years of armed experience.

* Must pass pre-hire testing assignment and shooting qualification.

* Must have a reliable personal vehicle.

* Must have the legal right to work in the United States.

* Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English.

* Must be able to provide the office with a reliable phone number where the officer can be reached at all times (i.e. cellular).

* Must be reliable, accountable, punctual, and have a strong work ethic.

* Must have a strong grasp of appropriate and professional verbal / written communication.

* Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills a plus.

* Must be able to conduct patrols throughout shift.

* Must be comfortable conducting access control duties.

* Occasional reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.

* Frequent sitting, standing, and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain.

* Additional physical requirements may include frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.

* Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county and municipal licensing and permit requirements for Security Officers.
