Emergency Response Team Agent - Part-Time Job Description
The Emergency Response Team Agent plays a critical role in the organization's executive protection and emergency response framework.
Responsibilities include:
- Executive Protection & Presence:
Provide visible security presence and exceptional customer service for executives and staff. - Threat Response:
Serve as first responder to security threats, including active shooter scenarios, within client office suites. - Security Systems Oversight:
Monitor and inspect physical security infrastructure (locks, cameras, access control) to ensure operational integrity. - Incident Reporting:
Produce detailed, timely reports on security incidents and maintain clear communication with GSPS leadership. - Advance & Support Operations:
Assist protective agents in field operations, including advanced walkthroughs, secure transportation, and body coverage. - Protocol Enforcement:
Enforce company policies regarding access, photography, and sensitive areas with professionalism and authority. - Emergency Protocol Execution:
Follow GSPS protocols during emergencies, prioritizing safety of executives, staff, and guests. - Area Sweeps & Surveillance:
Conduct regular security sweeps and live monitoring of surveillance systems. - Team Integration:
Collaborate with visiting security teams and facilities management to ensure seamless protective operations.
Experience in executive protection, emergency response teams (ERT), protective security detail (PSD), or residential security teams (RST) is required.
Preferred Qualifications- Prior military, law enforcement, or ERT experience.
- Prior SOF, SWAT, or extensive EP experience.
- 5-10 years in executive protection or corporate security.
- Specialized training in crisis management, emergency medicine, or incident response.
- LEOSA/HR 218 or multi-state CCW permit, and CO CCW.
- American Heart Association BLS Provider or Heart Saver CPR/AED/First Aid certification.
- EMT license strongly considered but not required.
- Familiarity with corporate and/or residential security technologies, tools, and processes.
- Valid Denver, CO guard card and armed guard card (required).
- U.S. passport and driver's license.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Completion of executive protection training preferred.
- Ability to complete and pass a pre-hire physical readiness test (PRT).
Candidates must pass a background investigation and random drug screening.
