Job TitleArmed Security Officer Part Time – Denver, CO. This part‑time position offers reliable, consistent hours on an assigned site with the flexibility to pick up additional shifts to increase earnings.
Pay Rate$30.00 / Hour
Job Schedule- Thursday: 02:00 AM – 06:00 AM
- Fixed-Shift Commitment (Anchor Shifts): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six‑month commitment.
- Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites.
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, location‑specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a financial services location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, including documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local authorities when needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials, and report suspicious behavior, disturbances, and/or policy violations in accordance with post orders and Allied Universal guidelines.
- Support opening, closing, and high‑value transport or delivery activities as directed while maintaining a professional presence and following all armed post requirements.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- An armed guard card and/or license is required.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess 4 or more years of military or law enforcement experience or a criminal justice degree.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
