Senior Target Security Specialist

Hourly pay range: $20.82 - $37.45. Shift differential of $2.00 to $3.50 per hour for eligible shifts. • Lead a physical security and safety culture for a Target supply‑chain facility.
• Execute strategic routines to identify, prevent, and investigate theft and shortages using technology, partnerships, reporting, and security tactics.
• Operate Target‑owned vehicles to perform yard and perimeter patrols.
• Lead or support enterprise‑wide asset‑protection initiatives and projects.
• Execute emergency procedures and protocols, including incident notification to building leadership.
• Support onboarding of new Asset Protection team members and review/update routine documentation.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to respond quickly and remain calm during crisis situations.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency handling highly confidential information.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain required state or local licensure.
• Capacity to prioritize tasks and remain composed in fast‑paced environments.
• Physical ability to lift up to 60 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in varying temperatures and humidity.
• Experience operating powered equipment safely (pallet rider, scissor lift, forklift) and working at heights up to 40 ft.
• Experience with loss prevention, shortage mitigation, or security is preferred.
• Willingness to undergo training on de‑escalation tactics, internal and external patrols, and incident response.
