Overview
Security Officer - Train Patrol in Denver, CO. Part-time unarmed patrol officer at a government transportation location. You will monitor assigned areas, deter security incidents, and assist riders, visitors, and staff with customer service and communications.
What You'll Do- Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and report concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of platforms, stations, parking areas, administrative spaces, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify suspicious behavior.
- Monitor access points and public areas; assist with crowd and line management during busy periods; help maintain orderly movement throughout the location.
- Communicate with site contacts, first responders, and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related incidents, policy questions, and unusual activity.

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

- Tue 03:00 AM - 11:00 AM
- Wed 03:00 AM - 11:00 AM
- Thu 03:00 AM - 11:00 AM
- At least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Pepper spray certification preferred.
- Handcuffing certification preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
- Guard card or license preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Background investigation required in accordance with applicable laws.
- Criminal histories will be considered in a manner consistent with laws.
- Drug screen required where permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment depending on state/local laws.
- Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
