Unarmed Security Guard

Advanced Professional Security (APS) urgently seeks Unarmed Security Guards to protect clients and their properties from criminal activity, trespassing, and other security threats. Candidates should remain calm under high-pressure situations, show patience, and possess excellent observational and communication skills.

The ideal candidate has prior surveillance experience, preferably from a law‑enforcement environment, and can clearly identify potential risks and threats.

• Surveillance:
  Patrol assigned grounds or buildings regularly; investigate suspicious activity; review CCTV and monitor crowds. Verify entry credentials, secure doors, windows, and gates, and escort employees or trespassers out of the property.
• Investigation:
  Respond promptly to alerts, secure the scene and relevant individuals, and notify local authorities. Perform related duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Security guard training certification preferred.
• Reliable transportation.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds, and stand or sit for long periods.

Compensation: Begins at $20.00 DOE. This listing will remain open as our needs and those of our clients are consistently changing.
