Flex Security Officer - Full Time

Locations: Multiple sites depending on District Manager’s area including Denver, Arvada, Westminster, Brighton, Thornton, & Louisville, CO.

Wage: $23.00/HR

Join our team at Securitas Security where you will have the opportunity to serve your community while receiving advanced training in safety and security. This position allows you to gain knowledge in the various security solutions we provide to our clients, while learning multiple aspects of the business. In this role you will provide operational support to our clients and District Managers at multiple locations.

Available 6am-11pm or 2pm-6am. Schedules are provided a week in advance and you will be stationed at multiple locations.

• Provide security for short‑term special security assignments.
• Support staffing requirements at accounts during shortages due to vacations, call‑offs, no‑shows, suspensions, holidays, etc.
• Assist in start‑ups at new accounts, including working the site, writing post orders and training checklists, and training newly assigned permanent Security Officers.
• Expect to work on weekends and holidays with limited notice, and during high‑need periods.
• Patrol assigned site on foot or in vehicle; check for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances and exits, and unauthorized persons.
• Write detailed incident reports on unauthorized entries, suspicious activity, emergency situations, and any other observed issues.

• 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer/technology skills.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid/effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre‑employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• Reliable transportation and means of communication needed.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to pass a motor vehicle record check.
• CPR, AED, and first aid certifications are a plus but are not required for every site.
• Physical and mental requirements may include: seeing, hearing, speaking, and writing clearly; occasional reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling; frequent sitting, standing and walking; may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain; lifting up to 10 lbs and occasionally up to 25 lbs.
