Tired of being on call for weeks at time?At Cornerstone, Maintenance Technicians are only on call one day at a time, 3-4 times per month! Say goodbye to 2 weeks without sleep and hello to taking back your free time! As a Maintenance Technician with Cornerstone, you will be on a team of 5 or 6, and focus on maintenanceONLY. We have an internal grounds team, painters, and vendor out snow removal and housekeeping.

Skills Required

• Appliance Repairs – gas/electric ranges, refrigerators, microwaves, dishwashers
• Plumbing - Sweat/solder pipe, toilet flush valves, faucets, disposals, shut-off valves, snake drains, tubs, toilets, etc. Cast iron a plus!
• Electrical - Change lights, outlets, fixtures, and ballasts
• HVAC/Boilers – Circulating pumps, zone valves, swamp coolers, thermostats
• Drywall - Patch, replace, mud, and match texture

Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintenance Requests/Work Orders
• Ordering Materials
• Scheduling Vendors
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in all areas of apartment maintenance
• Able to lift 50+ pounds
• Able to be standing and walking most of the day
• Own basic tools:
  Screw drivers (Slotted and Phillips), Pliers, Chanel locks, Wire cutters, Crescent wrench, Needle nose pliers, Hammer, Tape measure, Flashlight, Cordless drill, Drill bits, Allen wrench set, Razor knife, Putty knife
• Current valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
• Solid Work Ethic, Positive Attitude, Team Player
• Takes pride in quality work and exceptional customer service
• Reliable, Punctual

Compensation Package

• $25.00 - $28.00/hour plus earned commissions
• Quarterly Bonus Opportunity
• On-Call paid at time and a half plus $100 quarterly bonus
• 2 weeks of Paid Time Off to start, earned on an accrual basis, Sick Pay, Parental leave
• 9 Paid Holidays, including your birthday
• 401k - 100% vested after 90 days, up to a 4% match of gross salary
