ADU4U Limited is a recognized leader in the construction and design of accessory dwelling units (ADUs) in the Metro Denver area. These secondary residential structures, often referred to as carriage houses, granny flats, or mother-in-law suites, provide versatile living and rental solutions. ADU4U is committed to addressing the growing demand for flexible housing options by building high-quality units tailored to diverse applications.

With recent zoning law changes fueling interest, the company is at the forefront of creating innovative housing solutions for urban and suburban properties.

ADU4U works with a handful of subcontractors, providing construction tasks on a daily or weekly basis. Due to an increase in project volume, the company is looking to partner with one or two more reliable and consistent subcontractors.

Role Description

This is a subcontract role for a skilled Carpenter who wishes to perform multiple and regularly occurring jobs for ADU4U. The Carpenter will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures for accessory dwelling units, including framing, finish carpentry, and related tasks. Jobs will come in the form of specific line item tasks for an agreed-upon price before work begins.

Responsibilities will include working with power tools, hand tools, and collaborating with the construction team to ensure high-quality work. The Carpenter will also be expected to adhere to safety guidelines and meet project deadlines efficiently.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Carpentry and Finish Carpentry for both structural and aesthetic projects
  • Skilled in using Hand Tools and Power Tools for cutting, shaping, and assembling materials
  • Experience in Framing, including wood and metal structures
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Physical stamina and the ability to work in various environments
  • Familiarity with safety protocols and building code requirements
  • Previous experience in residential construction or ADU projects is a plus
  • Communication and professionalism is paramount
