Journeyman Electrician-Utility Scale Solar

Location: Denver, CO (Travel Required Nationwide)
Pay: $47–$50/hr (Prevailing Wage projects up to $90/hr)
Per Diem: Paid 7 days/week

We are seeking experienced Journeyman Electricians licensed in Washington to join our growing team supporting utility-scale solar projects across the U.S. This role requires 100% travel and offers strong earning potential through prevailing wage work, per diem, and project bonuses.

Projects range from 5–20 MW
, are ground‑mount
, and involve extensive travel.

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical components on utility‑scale solar projects

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings

• Perform electrical wiring, terminations, and grounding in accordance with NEC standards

• Test and troubleshoot electrical systems to ensure safety and functionality

• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field teams to meet deadlines

• Ensure compliance with OSHA and all applicable safety regulations

• Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance

• Safely operate and maintain tools, equipment, and machinery

• Document completed work and report deficiencies or issues

• Valid Journeyman Electrician License (WA and/or CO required)

• Willingness to test in additional states as needed

• Minimum 3 years of electrical experience (solar or renewable energy preferred)

• Strong understanding of NEC, OSHA, and electrical codes

• Ability to work outdoors, at heights, and in varying weather conditions

• Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

• $47–$50/hr base pay

• Prevailing Wage projects paying $50–$90/hr
