Nwestco is hiring an experienced Petroleum Equipment / Fuel Systems Technician to work on fuel pumps, dispensers, tanks, and tank monitors.
If you’ve worked on Gilbarco, Wayne, Veeder-Root, STPs, UST systems, or gas station equipment, this is steady, year-round work with a solid company that keeps you busy.
Pay ranges from $28-$36/hr per hour based on experience and includes full benefits, PTO, 401(k) with match, plus a company truck, gas card, cell phone, and laptop.
Your MissionYou’ll be out in the field working on:
- Fuel dispensers (Gilbarco & Wayne)
- Fuel pumps & STPs
- Underground & above ground tanks (UST / AST)
- Veeder-Root tank monitors
- Leak detection systems
- Electrical & mechanical troubleshooting
- Preventative maintenance & repairs
- Responding to service calls at commercial fueling sites
You’ll work independently but have a strong team backing you up.
What You Bring To The Table- Experience servicing fueling systems and petroleum equipment
- Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Experience with tank monitors such as Veeder-Root
- Familiarity with dispensers (Gilbarco, Wayne), STPs, and POS systems
- Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical manuals
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Ability to work independently and provide strong customer service
Certifications such as Gilbarco, Wayne, Verifone, ICC, UST/AST Operator, or HAZWOPER are a plus — but we’re willing to support continued training for the right candidate.
Before You LeapSome positions require travel and overnight stays. Travel expenses will be covered by Nwestco, LLC
All job offers are contingent upon successful completion of the following:- Ability to pass pre-employment physical with extensive lifting (up to 75 lb), twisting, pulling, kneeling, and squatting.
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug-screening and background check. If the position is classified as safety-sensitive, it requires the applicant to pass a comprehensive drug test, including screening for marijuana, as a condition of employment.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record over the past 5 years required.
