We deliver approximately 200 projects annually — from $25K to $2M+ — across commercial and residential markets. We’re hiring an experienced Level 2 Install Technician to join our commercial field team.

The Role

This is a full‑time, intermediate‑level position for someone with 1–3 years of commercial AV or low‑voltage installation experience. You’ll work under the direction of a Project Foreman and Project Manager, executing installations independently, troubleshooting system issues, and beginning to mentor Level 1 technicians on‑site.

What You’ll Do
  • Install, connect, and configure commercial AV systems: displays, projectors, DSPs, amplifiers, microphone systems, and video distribution
  • Install and wire control system hardware (Crestron, Extron); upload/download programming from internal or external programmers
  • Commission UC/collaboration platforms including Microsoft Teams Rooms and Zoom Rooms
  • Terminate and test all connection types: HDBaseT, Dante, AES
    67, structured cabling, and more
  • Build, dress, and label equipment racks to Logic Integration and AVIXA standards, including power sequencing and UPS integration
  • Read and interpret complete AV construction documents: floor plans, rack elevations, signal flow diagrams, and network schematics
  • Independently troubleshoot system‑level issues across cabling, hardware, configuration, and programming layers
  • Coordinate daily with the Project Foreman and PM; communicate professionally with clients and GCs
  • Track time accurately and maintain company vehicle
What You Bring
  • 1–3 years of commercial AV installation, pro audio/video, or related low‑voltage trade experience
  • Working knowledge of audio/video signal types, routing, and system interconnection
  • Proven troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to read full AV drawings, rack elevations, and signal flow diagrams
  • Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, ability to lift 80 lbs and work on ladders and lifts
  • AVIXA CTS certification (or willingness to obtain within 12 months)
Preferred
  • Crestron, Extron, QSC, or Biamp certifications
  • AV‑over‑IP experience (Dante, NDI, SDVoE)
  • OSHA 10/30
  • Networking fundamentals
What We Offer
  • Competitive compensation + quarterly performance bonus
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance (company‑paid portion)
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Paid training and professional development
  • Paid holidays, birthdays, and PTO
