Excellent Benefits! Company Truck! Opportunity for Advancement! Job Details We are currently hiring for a Fire Alarm Service Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inspecting, testing, maintaining, and troubleshooting various fire alarm systems, including control panels, detectors, horns, strobes, and annunciators. Responsibilities:
Conduct regular testing and maintenance of fire alarm systems across various commercial and industrial clients to ensure they are in excellent working condition. Troubleshoot and repair any issues with the fire alarm systems, including control panels, detectors, horns, strobes, and annunciators. Use Service Trade for efficient service management, logging all maintenance and repair activities accurately. Respond quickly and effectively to any fire alarm system malfunctions, resolving the issue promptly to maintain site safety.
Ensure all work complies with relevant safety standards and regulations. Perform regular inspections and provide recommendations for system improvements or upgrades. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and team members, providing excellent customer service and fostering a positive working environment.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Fire Alarm Service Technician working with commercial and industrial clients. CSA Denver Fire Alarm (DENFA/FA2) and NICET is a plus. Extensive knowledge of various fire alarm systems, including control panels, detectors, horns, strobes, and annunciators. Proficient in using Service Trade or similar software for service management. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Strong understanding of safety regulations and standards in the construction industry.
Ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues in a clear and understandable way. Strong customer service skills, with a focus on providing a high level of service. Able to work independently and as part of a team. Physically fit and able to work in various conditions, including at heights and in confined spaces.
Relevant certification or qualification in Fire Alarm Systems or a related field would be an advantage. Must have valid Driver's License and clean driving record. Interested in hearing more?
