Journeyman Electricians

Location: Elko, NV
Pay Rate: $36.00/hour
Per Diem: $125/day worked for qualified travelers
Project Duration: 6-7 months
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 5 x 12-hour shifts (60+ hours per week), with occasional Saturdays

Job Overview

We are currently seeking experienced Journeyman Electricians to support industrial mining operations in the Elko, Nevada area. This is a long-term opportunity offering consistent overtime hours throughout the summer and fall. Electricians will perform a variety of electrical installation and maintenance tasks in a heavy industrial environment while adhering to strict safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Install and terminate electrical wiring and equipment
• Pull wire and cable throughout industrial facilities
• Install conduit, cable tray systems, panels, lighting, and electrical devices
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings
• Troubleshoot and assist with electrical system installations as needed
• Maintain a safe and productive work environment in accordance with site and MSHA requirements
• Perform additional electrical duties as assigned

Requirements

• Journeyman Electrician experience in industrial, mining, or heavy commercial environments
• Ability to work 60+ hours per week, including occasional Saturdays
• Ability to work outdoors and in varying site conditions
• Must have reliable transportation to the reporting location each day
• Must provide basic electrical hand tools
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and attendance
