Carpenter Commercial Drywall and Metal Framing

• Install metal framing, including both light gauge and cold-formed metal framing
• Install drywall and sheathing as required by project specifications
• Frame radial walls and soffits
• Install RF shielding and HM doors
• Fabricate boxed headers and construct various wall assemblies (full height, shaft walls, furred and chase walls)
• Read and interpret construction plans and details
• Apply knowledge of partition ratings, such as fire and sound ratings
• Frame hard ceilings and install drywall grid systems
• Operate lifts, including scissor lifts (interior and exterior) and boom lifts
• Use gas powder-actuated tools safely and effectively
• Maintain reliable transportation to job sites throughout the Denver Metro area and report to work on time

• Proven experience in metal framing and drywall installation
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and details
• Familiarity with partition ratings (e.g., 1-hour fire, 1-hour sound)
• Experience with wall assemblies, boxed header fabrication, and hard ceiling framing
• Proficient in the use of lifts and gas powder-actuated tools
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Reliable transportation to job sites in the Denver Metro area

$24–$34 per hour
, depending on experience and qualifications.
