Role:Maintenance Technician
You will perform high‑quality maintenance work in single‑family rental homes while providing outstanding customer service to residents.
Key responsibilities include:
- Completing maintenance service requests across multiple trades.
- Providing excellent customer service and promoting a quality living experience for all residents.
- Performing required work while demonstrating respect for residents’ homes.
- Completing regular Pro Care visits to perform proactive maintenance and repairs, completing the associated checklist in the mobile app, and scheduling the next Pro Care visit.
- Educating residents on maintenance topics and the expectation webpages ().
- Educating residents on the functional systems of their home.
- Conducting general condition assessments at all property visits and alerting the property management team when items require immediate attention.
- Using technician reports to identify improvement opportunities.
- Performing repairs in vacant properties during the on‑market or turn process.
- Using and caring for company‑supplied tools, materials, and vehicles.
- Reviewing next day’s appointments and ensuring equipment, material, and time are available for a single visit.
- Adhering to all Safety guidelines.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2‑5+ years proven experience in residential repairs and maintenance, or related building maintenance.
- OSHA 10 required (new hires will receive up to 90 days to complete certification).
- Current driver’s license, automobile insurance, and any other state‑required licenses/certifications.
- Comfortable with mobile devices (iPad, iPhone) and mobile applications.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills; strong verbal and written communication; multi‑lingual a plus.
- Ability to use basic hand and power tools.
- Physical ability to climb, reach, stoop, kneel, crawl, lift, and move more than 50 pounds.
- Capacity to work regularly, including occasional weekends and holidays, and be at work on a consistent basis.
- EPA Type I, Type II, or Universal HVAC Certification.
- CPO certification (pool).
- Other relevant certifications.

$22.21 – $38.50 per hour, plus potential annual discretionary bonus. Compensation within range depends on skills, experience, education, location, and applicable employment laws.
