PositionSummary
Preform a full range of Journeyman level duties in addition to providing, training, supervision and mentorship for Electrical trades employees to ensure assigned work conforms to Safety, Quality, Timeline and Productivity standards.
Role Responsibilities- Coordinate and allocate work to employees in accordance with directions.
- Request equipment, materials, and consumables as required within limits of authority.
- Monitor the use of materials, care of equipment and facility to minimize waste and damage.
- Ensure equipment and tools are secure and used correctly.
- Ensure that all reports are constantly employed efficiently and effectively.
- Ensure all work is carried out to quality and specification requirements with documentation.
- Provide a safe work environment for you, RK crews, and all job site personnel.
- Ensure housekeeping is ongoing by maintaining a clean and safe workplace.
- Provide leadership and direction
- Liaise and interface with applicable leadership as needed.
- Perform some layout activities.
- Perform equipment start up with associated documentation.
- Technical trouble shooting and diagnostics when needed.
- Contributes to the development and improvement of concepts, techniques and procedures.
- Perform quality control inspections.
- Other duties as assigned
- Manage at least (6) electricians with given tasks and observe correct techniques and workmanship manner
Physical Requirements
- Work outside, inside, and in dusty, noisy and hazardous areas.
- Work in high places, tight places, confined spaces and/or other adverse locations.
- Climb, balance, squat, kneel and crouch.
- Work in all types of weather.
- Good physical condition and ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Good dexterity and eye hand coordination.
- Ability to lift and carry 51 to 75 lbs. occasionally, and/or 31 to 45 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 16 to 22 pounds of force constantly to move objects
- Aptitude for technical problem solving.
- Familiarity with building codes and current laws/regulations.
- Ability to maintain clean and orderly tools/work area.
- Good communication skills both verbal and written.
- Must have working knowledge of all trade materials, equipment and tools.
- Hold an active Colorado Journeyman License in good standing
