Position Summary Service Technicians support restaurant operations by performing installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC/R systems and commercial kitchen equipment across multiple Arby’s locations. Technicians ensure equipment safety, reliability, and compliance through responsive repairs, preventative maintenance, and collaboration with restaurant leadership.

These roles require 100% regional travel and flexibility to work varied shifts, weekends, and holidays due to site accessibility.

Core Responsibilities Respond to service requests; troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment using warranty and industry standards

Perform maintenance and repairs on HVAC, refrigeration, and commercial kitchen equipment

Complete Flynn Arby’s–approved preventative maintenance

Inspect equipment and perform repairs or replacements as needed

Communicate repair status with Facilities leadership and restaurant management

Respond to emergency maintenance requests

Adhere to all safety policies, procedures, and compliance standards

Complete documentation and other duties as assigned

Service Technician – Level 1 (Senior / Trainer)
Diagnoses and completes repairs on all HVAC, hot-side, and cold-side kitchen equipment

Independently resolves complex and escalated service issues

Provides training, coaching, and technical guidance to other Service Technicians Supports best practices, skill development, and consistency across the technician team Performs preventative maintenance and maintenance/handyman repairs as needed

Skills & Qualifications Valid driver’s license with a clean Motor Vehicle ReportEPA Certification (required)
HVAC Certification (required)
Strong working knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration, and commercial kitchen equipment

Ability to use basic tools and diagnostic meters

At least 21 years of age Legal authorization to work in the United States Drug-free workplace: must pass DOT drug screen, fit-for-duty physical, and background check
