Entry Level Field Technician I – Westminster, Colorado

Intertek, a leading provider of quality and safety solutions, is actively seeking an Entry Level Field Technician I to join our Professional Services Industries, Inc. (Intertek-PSI) team in the Greater Denver Area, specifically at our Westminster, Colorado office. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow a versatile career in the architectural, engineering, and construction (A/E/C) industry.

The base wage ranges from $20/hr to $28/hr compensation is based on experience, qualifications, and other relevant factors. • Operate testing equipment and conduct tests (e.g., soil, concrete) and provide assessment of data through reporting.
• Utilize drawings, specifications, and diagrams to guide testing.
• Use specific methods and perform tasks to make detailed observations of site activities and provide limited interpretation of results.
• Maintain detailed documentation and data from test results.

• Some experience in the construction industry.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable driving record.
• Must be able to work off shift and overtime as needed.
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
• Ability to lift, move, push, and pull 30 to 50 pounds frequently; occasionally over 50 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication and make discriminations in sound.
• Ability to kneel and squat occasionally.
• Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions, including hot and cold temperatures.
• Ability to climb occasionally and work at various heights.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of construction materials testing experience.
• ACI Certification.
