Repairs and maintains grounds heavy equipment and small engines that meets or exceeds current industry standards.

- L2 (Journeyman)

- Keep up with industry standards to include electric powered equipment
- Performs inventory supply activities, tracking and restocking supplies and materials
- Operates and troubleshoots problems for repair in hydraulic, air-operated and electrical systems
- Reviews work orders, prioritizes, and determines supplies for repair and purchases supplies using the District purchase order system
- Obtains bids on work for contracted services, and prepares quotes
- Inspects work of independent contractors, identifies deficiencies, and communicates with vendors about correcting deficiencies according to code, industry standards, and DPS specifications
- High school diploma or equivalent. Two to ten years experience and training; minimum as follows:

- Must have and maintain a valid Colorado Driver's License and meet District insurability standards. Technicians L2 and L3 must have or be able to obtain a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
