Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm (onsite)

JOB SUMMARYThe Maintenance IV, Project Lead facilitates in‑house projects across Goodwill’s Retail, Rehab, Contracts, and Administration business models. Responsibilities include new construction, remodels, demos, and troubleshooting of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, hydraulics, painting, welding, and carpentry to support the organization’s mission. Must work with the Director of Facilities and lead projects on site to completion.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS- Lead projects in new construction, remodels, demos, and high priority work orders.
- Perform facility repairs in industrial, commercial retail, and adult daycare environments.
- Travel across Colorado and stay overnight at various locations.
- Accept a fluid schedule and overnight work as required.
- Perform tasks including multi‑phase carpentry, electrical/electronic work, painting, drywall installation and finishing, tool and parts delivery, site cleanup, building system troubleshooting, cross‑training, vendor coordination, quality control checks, vehicle and tool maintenance, and other duties as assigned.
Education
- High School diploma or equivalent.
Experience
- 5+ years of commercial retail and industrial maintenance knowledge.
- Previous experience in the technical trades listed.
- Journey or journeyman level in a trade field with extensive knowledge in other trade fields.
Other
- Fast‑paced, constantly changing work environment.
- Cross‑training and training of other technicians.
- Troubleshooting building systems.
- Use of smartphone apps and CMMS.
- Use of hand tools and maintenance equipment (aerial lift, skid steer, etc.).
- English reading, writing, and communication.
- Work overtime, weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Excellent customer service and communication with customers, management, and peers.
- Strong work ethic, self‑starter, problem‑solver, team player.
- Follow Goodwill safety standards and handbook policies.
- Drive for company business; must meet age and insurance requirements (21+ for passenger, 25+ for transportation, 25 for CDL).
- Must pass Motor Vehicle Record and background checks; valid Colorado driver’s license; vehicle in roadworthy condition if using personal vehicle.
